Overview
The National Health Mission (NHM), Uttar Pradesh runs large community health programmes that depend on accurate reporting from blocks and villages across the state. We built two of its MIS portals: the BCPM MIS for UP Community Processes, including the PMMVY incentive portal, and the VHND MIS for Chhaya Integrated Urban and Village Health, Sanitation and Nutrition Days.
The challenge
Government health programmes involve thousands of field users, strict data requirements and sensitive information. The systems had to be secure, simple enough for field staff to use, reliable for daily reporting, and easy for programme managers to monitor.
Our approach
We built role-based web applications with secure logins, so each user sees only the data and forms relevant to them. Data entry is kept simple, while reports and dashboards give block, district and state teams a clear view of progress.
Both portals include password management, a help desk and downloadable user manuals, so users can get started and stay productive without constant support.
