Overview
Gram Vikas Sewa Sansthan (GVSS) is a grassroots organisation based in Jagdishpur, Amethi, working alongside vulnerable and marginalised communities in Uttar Pradesh. For nearly five decades it has worked across education, health and nutrition, livelihoods, environmental sustainability and safe migration.
The challenge
An NGO’s website has many audiences at once: donors, government and CSR partners, researchers and the communities it serves. GVSS had decades of work, reports and stories to share, and needed a site that builds trust quickly, explains its legal status and leadership clearly, and makes it easy to support the cause.
Our approach
We organised the site around what each audience looks for. About pages cover the story, core values, legal status, reach and organogram. Our Work is split into clear programme areas, and a Resources section brings together annual reports, publications, awards, the gallery, case studies, videos and the vodcast.
The homepage leads with the mission, introduces each area of work, and highlights featured causes such as women’s literacy, climate-resilient agriculture and adolescent girl empowerment, with a clear call to donate.
